Christmas Gifts for Mum and Dad (and Grandparents) That Mean Something
Short answer: parents and grandparents value time and attention more than things. Good choices are a day out together, a photo gift, or a personalised video from the whole family where a real crew says their names and performs your message. Play it on the TV on Christmas Day and everyone sees it at once.
Why a family video works for parents
- Everyone can chip in, so it often costs each person less than buying separately.
- Grandchildren's names, a family joke and a thank-you all fit in one message.
- Nothing to dust or store. They can watch it again whenever they like.
Which crew suits parents?
For warm and lively, the Red Rebels or White Tigers. For families with roots in South Asia, the Mumbai Hype Crew or the Pakistani Village Crew. For parents with a dry sense of humour, the Russia Collection. Tell us the language you would like and add notes on how to say the names; contact us before you order if the language matters.
Tips for the message
Keep it short enough for the crew to perform in one go: their names (Mum and Dad, Nan and Grandad, or first names), one memory, and a Christmas wish from everyone. Add a VIP gift page if you want a link they can keep and share with relatives.
How it works
- Choose a crew and a package. Basic uses a preset song; Premium and VIP let you choose the song. VIP includes a personal gift page.
- Pay, then send the details. Their name and your message, plus any photo or song required by your package. You can add the details after checkout.
- We email you the link. Premium and VIP videos arrive within 24 hours after complete details. Basic videos arrive within 48 to 72 hours after complete details. Download it, forward it, or play it for them on the day.
Christmas order-by dates: send complete details by 12:00 UK time on Wednesday 23 December for Premium or VIP, or by 12:00 UK time on Monday 21 December for Basic. We do not take same-day orders on Thursday 24 December. Complete details means their name and your message, plus the photo and song details required by the chosen package.
What it costs: Basic is £29.99 with the Red Rebels, White Tigers or Pakistani Village Crew, and £39.99 with the Russia Collection. Premium is £39.99 (Russia £49.99) and VIP is £54.99. The Mumbai Hype Crew shows its own prices on its page. The World Tour is £119 for four videos, one from each country, on one gift page. Ask us for a Christmas date before ordering World Tour. No postage, because it arrives by email.
What it is not: it is not a parcel to unwrap, and it is not a celebrity. If they love opening something on the day, add a printed card or keep the link for a big-screen moment after lunch.
Other occasions: birthday, anniversary, Eid, graduation, Diwali and the Christmas video page.
