Funny Christmas Gifts for Friends: Make the Group Chat Lose It

Short answer: the funniest gift is the one built on an in-joke. A personalised video does that: a real crew dances, shouts your friend's name and performs your message, word for word. It is ready to share in the group chat and needs no postage.

How to make it funny, not awkward

• Use one in-joke, not five. The crew performs it in one go.
• Tease habits everyone knows (the cold tea, the late arrival), never secrets.
• End warm: "Merry Christmas from the whole squad."
• Add a note on how to say their name, so the crew gets it right.

Which crew is funniest?

That depends on the friend. Loud and high-energy: the Red Rebels or the White Tigers. Big Bollywood energy: the Mumbai Hype Crew. The farm animals steal the show with the Pakistani Village Crew. Straight-faced and odd: the Russia Collection.

For the office?

For a colleague you drew, see our Secret Santa video page. Keep it safe to play in front of their manager.

How it works

1. Choose a crew and a package. Basic uses a preset song; Premium and VIP let you choose the song. VIP includes a personal gift page.
2. Pay, then send the details. Their name and your message, plus any photo or song required by your package. You can add the details after checkout.
3. We email you the link. Premium and VIP videos arrive within 24 hours after complete details. Basic videos arrive within 48 to 72 hours after complete details. Download it, forward it, or play it for them on the day.

Christmas order-by dates: send complete details by 12:00 UK time on Wednesday 23 December for Premium or VIP, or by 12:00 UK time on Monday 21 December for Basic. We do not take same-day orders on Thursday 24 December. Complete details means their name and your message, plus the photo and song details required by the chosen package.

What it costs: Basic is £29.99 with the Red Rebels, White Tigers or Pakistani Village Crew, and £39.99 with the Russia Collection. Premium is £39.99 (Russia £49.99) and VIP is £54.99. The Mumbai Hype Crew shows its own prices on its page. The World Tour is £119 for four videos, one from each country, on one gift page. Ask us for a Christmas date before ordering World Tour. No postage, because it arrives by email.

Other occasions: birthday, anniversary, Eid, graduation, Diwali and the Christmas video page.
