African Christmas Video for a Friend - Personalised
Win the friendship group this Christmas with an African dance crew
An African Christmas video for a friend is a 30 to 60 second HD clip where a real dance crew shouts their name, holds their photo on the board and dances to their song. For the mate who has everything or the friend you draw every year in Secret Santa, this is the gift nobody else comes close to. You write it; they perform it.

Christmas message ideas for a friend
- "Merry Christmas to the only person who laughs at my jokes. This is your reward."
- "You are impossible to buy for, so we hired a dance crew. Merry Christmas."
- "To my best mate - may your Christmas be as loud as this video."
Keep the message under about 60 words so the crew can perform it naturally, and add a pronunciation note for any name that could be read more than one way. Need more prompts? Read what to write in a Christmas video message.
Why friends love these
It is the gift that gets screenshot, shared and brought up at every gathering for the next year. Every video is filmed by a real crew (never AI), says your message word-for-word, and arrives by email as a digital link they can keep and replay. Because personalisation happens after payment, you can order now and send the details when you have the photo ready. For more Christmas ideas, see our Christmas video greeting page.
How the video lands
The video arrives by email as a private link. Send it to their phone on Christmas morning, play it at the pub, or drop it in the group chat and watch the reactions. The link does not expire, so they can replay it whenever they like.
