Secret Santa Gift Ideas Under £20 (UK)

With a £20 cap you can pair two small things that make sense together. Choose a gift that suits the person rather than spending every penny for its own sake.

Pairings that work

• A coffee or tea they actually drink with a simple mug.
• A paperback in their favourite genre with a bookmark.
• A compact card game with their favourite snack.
• A little plant with a pot that fits their desk.
• A baking ingredient kit with a hand-written recipe.

For a colleague you hardly know

Ask for a short wish list through the organiser, or choose something useful and easy to share. Avoid alcohol unless you know it is welcome, and avoid jokes about appearance or private life. The gift should still work if the whole team watches it being opened.

For a remote exchange

Agree whether delivery costs count before you draw names. Check the recipient's delivery preference; do not ask for a home address in a public group chat. If shipping is awkward, pick a digital option that is genuinely under the cap and suitable for the recipient.

A WME personalised Christmas video is not an under-£20 gift: eligible Basic packages start at £29.99. If your group has a higher cap, the main Secret Santa guide covers that option. WME's £24.99 corporate price applies only to orders of 10 or more, not one individual gift.
